A Changing Board and a Growing Community
The Lincoln Community Foundation Board of Directors is comprised of up to 13 members including officers. The Board is undergoing a change in officers, with the election of Mike Hobson as President, Lori Cochrane as Vice President, and Susan Cope as Treasurer. The ongoing Board’s Secretary, Pam Mathus, a representative from the City of Lincoln, is designated Secretary under the City Clerk as custodian of the corporate records.
The changing Board is meeting the challenges of growth in our community by introducing several new initiatives embraced by the Lincoln Community Foundation. With rapidly growing residential opportunities the needs of our community members across every age group grows exponentially. The Foundation is committed to the following new initiatives:
- Community Development –
We are working together with community leaders and local residential developers to help shape an enduring contribution, and to add vitality to the Lincoln Community. Civic leaders, activists, involved citizens and professionals will come together to improve various aspects of our community, aiming to build a stronger, more resilient community, in parallel with population growth and rising needs.
- Fund Development –
We are developing a Legacy Giving Program to identify additional giving options which meet our philanthropic mission as a trustee for community resources.
